In a reprehensible act that unfolded in Bengaluru, Karnataka, on Monday, July 8th, local authorities apprehended a man following a deeply disturbing incident involving female students outside Jain College. The man, identified as Ayub ur Rehman, was caught on camera exposing his private parts to young women in the vicinity of the college, which is situated in the VV Puram area.

This alarming event has left many college students in shock and dismay. Eyewitnesses reported that the culprit was riding a scooter and had his face concealed with a cloth to avoid recognition. He deliberately chose locations around women's educational institutions, where female students often congregate, as his targets for this vile behavior.
The rapid arrest was facilitated by a video of the incident that swiftly went viral, leading to public outrage and immediate police action.
According to disturbing details revealed in a video that has surfaced online, Ayub ur Rehman, the man arrested for indecent exposure, had a specific modus operandi that targeted female students at local colleges. The video shows Rehman parking his scooter near educational institutions and engaging in indecent behavior by exposing himself. He would sit on his scooter, his penis deliberately exposed, as unsuspecting female students walked by, either individually or in groups. This reprehensible behavior caused significant distress and discomfort among the young women.
Whenever confronted, Rehman would swiftly flee the scene, which allowed him to evade capture for a period. However, his continued predatory actions were finally halted when one brave victim managed to record the incident on her mobile phone. She promptly alerted the police, providing them with the crucial evidence needed to take action.
Following the report by Asianet Suvarna news, it was revealed that the incident near VV Puram College came to light after female students courageously confronted Rehman and documented his vulgar activities. They handed over this damning evidence to the VV Puram police, who then commenced a thorough investigation. The police swiftly gathered additional evidence, including several pieces of CCTV footage from the surrounding area.
This evidence helped in the identification and subsequent arrest of Rehman, who is 48 years old. The video that incriminated him showed him wearing a disguise and seated on his scooter, attempting to obscure his identity while continuing his offensive acts.

In a brazen act of public indecency, Ayub ur Rehman was caught on camera as he unzipped his pants and flashed his penis in full public glare. This prompt action allowed them to nab Rehman within just 24 hours of obtaining the crucial video evidence. A formal case was registered against him following his arrest.
Further investigations revealed that Ayub ur Rehman worked as a tea seller. Currently, the police are conducting a thorough interrogation to determine the extent of his actions concerning sexually harassing women. In a revealing statement during the interrogation, when asked about the motive behind his repeated indecent behavior, Rehman claimed ignorance of the reasons for his actions.
