"A minor girl has been repeatedly raped by her mother’s boyfriend Ashpak Sheikh for the last three years by drugging her in Maharashtra’s Aurangabad district," the report states, highlighting the harrowing nature of the crimes committed against her. The victim's ordeal was marked by the use of drugs, facilitating the repeated sexual assault she was forced to endure.
The case, emerging from the Pundalik Nagar police station area in Aurangabad, also touches upon the disturbing allegation that the victim's mother is a ‘love jihad’ victim. "Her mother is allegedly a ‘love jihad’ victim," the report notes, adding a layer of complexity to the case. The term 'love jihad' is often used to describe inter-religious relationships involving coercion or deceit.
The extent of the abuse faced by the minor girl is further detailed in the report, which reveals the dehumanizing and abusive acts she was subjected to. "Used to show her porn and forced to dance naked," the account states, shedding light on the psychological and physical torment inflicted upon her.
Members of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) brought this case to the authorities' attention by filing a complaint. This action led to the arrest of Ashpak Sheikh on 23 November, a critical step towards seeking justice for the victim. The First Information Report (FIR) chronicles the abuse from 1 January 2020 to 23 November of this year, and an investigation is currently underway.
This case has sent shockwaves through the community, exposing the horrifying reality of such crimes against minors. The ongoing investigation seeks to uncover the full extent of these despicable acts and bring all responsible parties to justice. For the young victim at the center of this nightmare, the path to healing and recovery will undoubtedly be challenging.

In a case that has shocked Maharashtra, new details have emerged from the testimony of the teenage victim, revealing a tumultuous family history marked by instability and conflict. The girl, who has accused Ashpak Sheikh of repeated abuse, detailed the circumstances that led to her current predicament.
"The teenager in her complaint revealed that when she was just two years old, her mother filed for divorce from her first husband after which she moved in with Ashpak Sheikh in the Bharat Nagar neighbourhood where she gave birth to a son named Sameer," the victim's statement read. This move marked the beginning of a new chapter in her life, filled with upheaval and strife. The birth of Sameer, her half-brother, further complicated the family dynamics, setting the stage for ongoing conflicts.
The discord within the family was fueled by Sheikh's refusal to accept Sameer. "The accused didn’t think of the child as his own and the couple used to frequently fight over the issue," the statement continued, highlighting the strained relationship between the mother and Sheikh, which often erupted into disputes. This tumultuous environment created a backdrop of continuous tension and discord in the household.
The victim, along with her mother and Sameer, eventually settled in the same area. The narrative took a darker turn when the victim recounted a harrowing incident from about three years ago. "Referring to an incident about 3 years ago, she mentioned that one day she went to a wedding with her brother and her mother called her and told the duo to return home because of an altercation," the statement said. This incident signified a pivotal moment in the ongoing family saga, marked by violence and chaos.
Upon their return, they were confronted with a scene of destruction. "When they reached the place, she spotted numerous glass fragments scattered around and the Ashpak Sheikh’s throat was scratched," she recalled. This scene of disarray and violence underscored the volatile nature of the environment in which the victim was living, further complicating the already troubled family dynamic.
These revelations shed light on the complex and distressing background against which the alleged abuse took place, painting a picture of a young girl caught in a web of familial conflict and violence. The ongoing investigation aims to unravel the full extent of the abuse and bring justice to the victim, who has endured years of suffering in silence.
In the ongoing case in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, involving the alleged abuse of a minor girl by Ashpak Sheikh, further disturbing details have emerged from the victim's account. The complexity of the situation deepens with the revelation of events following her mother's disappearance.
"However, the girl could not find her mother anywhere and Ashpak claimed that she had left when the children inquired about her," reports the victim. This statement points to a disconcerting ambiguity surrounding the mother's sudden absence, leaving the children in a state of uncertainty and distress. Sheikh's claim, lacking in detail and clarity, did not satisfy the girl's concerns about her mother's well-being, fueling her doubts and fears.
Seeking answers, the girl turned to her neighbors, who provided a more sinister perspective on the mother's disappearance. "She did not believe his words and asked neighbours about her mother who informed her that they had seen her mother suffering a head injury on the same day. Furthermore, they informed that the offender was witnessed chasing her with a wooden stick," the neighbors' accounts suggest a violent altercation, potentially implicating Sheikh in a more ominous role regarding the mother's fate.
In the midst of these alarming revelations, Sheikh made a sudden decision to relocate the children. "Ashpak Sheikh shifted both kids to Mumbai and stayed there for eight days," the report continues. This move, abrupt and unexplained, added to the already tumultuous situation, further destabilizing the children's sense of security and normalcy.
While in Mumbai, Sheikh's actions raised more questions. "Meanwhile, one night he was gathering information about the situation in Aurangabad over the phone. He wanted to know if everything was fine there and whether he could come back," his inquiries overheard by the girl, hint at his concern and possible connections to unresolved issues in Aurangabad.
The situation took a darker turn upon their return to Aurangabad. "The next morning he went to Aurangabad with her and Sameer where he stayed for one month and one day sexually abused the adolescent,"
The case in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, has taken a more sinister turn as further disturbing details have been disclosed by the teenage victim against Ashpak Sheikh.
"After a while, he travelled to Aurangabad’s Phulambri with her where he began regularly raping her by feeding her chocolate and drug pills in milk," the report details a horrific pattern of abuse. This method of drugging the victim indicates a premeditated approach by Sheikh to subdue and control her, adding a layer of manipulation and deceit to the already grave acts of sexual violence.
The abuse took on an additional dimension of coercion and psychological manipulation when Sheikh involved family in the ordeal. "He then took her to his sister Irfana’s residence Naregaon which is also in Aurangabad. Here he talked about fixing the girl’s Nikah (marriage in Islam) with a boy and also unveiled that her Haldi ceremony has been decided," the statement reads. This move to plan a marriage without the girl's consent and under the guise of cultural traditions reveals a chilling intention to legitimize the ongoing abuse and further entrap the victim.
Facing this deeply troubling situation, the victim's resistance was met with cruel ultimatums. "However, the victim objected to the wedding and was offered two options by him. The first one was to marry the boy of his choice or make a physical relationship with the perpetrator," the report continues. The choices she was given, both leading to her continued exploitation, reflect the abusive power dynamics she was forced into.
The threat that followed these options shows the severity of the coercion she faced. "She was threatened with death if she refused to choose between the two and he continued to violate her sexually taking advantage of her fear," the victim recounted. This threat of violence underscores the extreme duress under which the victim was living, with every aspect of her life controlled and threatened by Sheikh.
After this period of intensified abuse in Phulambri, Sheikh brought the victim back to Aurangabad, where the cycle of abuse continued. "He returned to Aurangabad with her after some time where too he fed her chocolate-coloured pills in milk as well as water and raped her," she stated. The use of drugs to facilitate the sexual abuse continued, demonstrating a consistent pattern of predatory behavior.
The details emerging from the victim's account paint a horrifying picture of systematic abuse, manipulation, and coercion.
In a moment of resilience and desperation, "She came back home late from there and Ashpak Sheikh tried to rape her once again, but she kicked him hard and got the opportunity after which she fled the house," the report says. This act of resistance allowed her to escape the immediate danger and seek refuge.
"She then arrived at her friend’s house and spent the night there. She went straight to the Pundalik Nagar police station in the morning without alerting anyone in order to avoid bothering them," her actions following the incident demonstrate a presence of mind and determination to seek help and protect herself from further harm.
This latest installment in the victim's tragic story highlights not only the grievous abuses she suffered but also her courage in the face of such adversity. The case, now in the hands of the Pundalik Nagar police, is a stark reminder of the urgent need for justice and protection for victims of such heinous crimes. The young girl's ordeal is a call to action for society and law enforcement to ensure that such abuses are stopped, and that the survivors are provided with the necessary support and resources to heal and rebuild their lives.
In a turn of events that could be perceived as an attempt to deflect from his alleged crimes, Ashpak Sheikh filed a missing person report for the teenage girl after she fled from the abusive environment at home. "However, she asserted that she was safe, and he was doing this to save himself," the victim declared, implying that Sheikh's actions were a self-preservation tactic rather than a genuine concern for her wellbeing.
The victim's statement to the police paints a harrowing picture of the ordeal she endured. "The victim in her statement noted that she had suffered for the previous three years at his brutal hands. She added that there has been no trace of her mother for these three years," she reported. This statement underscores the prolonged period of suffering she endured and raises distressing questions about the fate of her mother.
In response to her disappearance, Sheikh attempted to cast doubt on the situation by suggesting the girl had left voluntarily. "When questioned, the perpetrator alleged that she absconded with someone else," a claim which stands in stark contrast to the victim's account of events.
Support for the victim came from members of the local Hindu community, who stepped in after learning of the case. "Members of the Hindu group contacted the victim after learning about the case and provided assistance," exemplifying the crucial role of community support in such traumatic circumstances.
The legal process has since been set in motion. "The police have launched a case under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act as well as sections 376, 376 (2)(n), 376 (3), 323 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code," reflecting the seriousness of the allegations and the legal protections in place for victims of such crimes.
Finally, the report concludes with the update that Sheikh has been apprehended. "Ashpak Sheikh has been nabbed and authorities are probing the issue. OpIndia has the FIR copy," indicating that the case is now under active investigation as authorities work to uncover the truth and ensure justice is served. This marks a significant step forward in the case, providing a semblance of hope that the victim's ordeal will not go unpunished and that the full extent of Sheikh's alleged crimes will be brought to light.
