The BNS's sections 115(2), 351(2), 351(3), and 352, as well as the pertinent clauses of the Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Marriage) Act, 2019, were invoked to book a case against the accused.

A case has been registered against all six accused. All of them are absconding. Investigation into the matter is underway, and the police are searching for the accused.
