Love, in its essence, is a tapestry woven with the threads of trust, hope, and dreams. It's a force so powerful that it transcends the barriers of caste, creed, and religion, uniting hearts in a bond that promises eternity. Yet, within this beautiful construct lies the potential for darkness, for love when twisted by betrayal, becomes a story not of union but of ultimate tragedy. Such is the sorrowful tale that unfolded in the serene landscapes of Kaimur, Bihar, where love morphed into a horror that claimed the life of a young girl, a tale that reminds us of love's potential to turn perilous.

In the heart of Bihar, in a place known as Kaimur, a tale of love turned tragic came to light, painting a grim picture of betrayal and loss. A young man, who once vowed to share every breath with his beloved, became the architect of her demise. This chilling episode concluded with the recovery of the girl's body, hidden away from the eyes of the world for 20 days, marking a sorrowful end to a love story that dared to cross the boundaries society had laid down. The authorities, upon uncovering this heinous act, apprehended the accused, ensuring he faced the consequences of his actions, as the wheels of justice began to turn.

The story began with a girl from Kaimur, who saw beyond the confines of societal norms and found love in Shafiq Ansari. Their bond seemed unbreakable, a connection that felt as if it had been nurtured over lifetimes. Her trust in Shafiq was absolute; his call was her command, a testament to their seemingly unshakable bond. Even a simple request from Shafiq was enough for her to venture into the unknown, as was the case a few days prior when she followed him into the mountains, oblivious to the fate that awaited her.

Her belief in their future together was unwavering. Against all odds, she was prepared to stand by Shafiq, to face the world with him by her side. Yet, beneath the surface of Shafiq Ansari's affection lurked a sinister deceit. Her compliance and faith in his intentions masked the impending doom. The revelation of Shafiq Ansari's true nature was a truth too harsh, coming to light only when escape was beyond her grasp. The once-promised protector became her predator, exploiting her trust, having a sexual relation with her all night long before cruelly slitting her throat with a knife he bought to peel apples. He discarded her life on the mountain, her final resting place marked by the underbrush, a grim reminder of the peril lurking within misplaced trust and love gone awry.

In the quiet district of Kaimur, Bihar, a distressing case unfolded when a young Hindu girl had mysteriously disappeared, prompting her worried family to seek the help of the police. Despite their efforts, for several days, no one had any clue about her whereabouts—not her family, nor the police who diligently worked on her case. Amidst this uncertainty, the investigation took a significant turn when the police began to explore a different angle: a possible love affair that might have led to her disappearance.

Acting on this new line of inquiry, the police focused their attention on the girl's lover, a man named Shafiq Ansari. Under suspicion, Shafiq was brought in for questioning. What followed during the police interrogation was a shocking confession that took everyone by surprise. "He told that he had killed her by stabbing her with an apple knife, threw her down a hill and ran away." This revelation was horrifying not only in the act itself but in the casual use of an everyday object to commit such a heinous crime.

The breakthrough in the case, however, came from the use of electronic surveillance by the Bihar Police. Without this modern investigative technique, uncovering the truth behind the girl's disappearance would have been significantly more challenging. It was through analyzing Shafiq Ansari's mobile location and his last call details that the police were finally able to piece together the tragic events. "This case would not have been opened even if Bihar Police had not taken the help of electronic surveillance," showcasing the importance of technology in solving crimes.

For 20 days, the girl remained missing, leading her family to believe that perhaps she had run away to start a new life elsewhere. This hope, however faint, was a comfort against the growing despair. However, the grim reality was that "the girl had died 20 days ago and her dead body was rotting lying in the bushes." This tragic outcome marked a sorrowful end to a young life and a stark reminder of the dangers that can lurk within relationships, hidden behind the facade of love and trust.

The case has now moved forward with the arrest and jailing of Shafiq Ansari, as the police continue their investigation to understand the motives and circumstances that led to this tragic event.

Taking to X, Bihar Police informed about the accused person’s arrest and wrote, “The accused involved in the kidnapping and murder of a woman was arrested under Bhabhua police station area of Kaimur district. The knife used in the incident was also recovered from the arrested criminal.”

In a press note, the Kaimur police said that during the questioning, accused Shafiq told the police about his horrific crime. The accused said that he was in love with the deceased but for the last few days, she had not been talking to him, because of which he was upset. On the day of the incident, the accused called up the victim and asked her to meet him. He took her to Manjhar Kund in Sasaram. On the way, he bought apples and a fruit-cutting knife. When they reached the spot, he stabbed the Hindu girl with a fruit-cutting knife and fled after pushing down her body from Manjhar Kund Hill.

She Went Missing on 17th February

The incident occurred in Sasaram district, where it was discovered that Shafiq Ansari had disposed of his girlfriend's body in Manjhar Kund of Rohtas. This case has brought to light a tragic story of love and betrayal.

Shafiq Ansari, a 21-year-old man and the son of Mohammad Zakir Ansari from Gangwalia, Kudra, was reported to have been in a romantic relationship with a Hindu girl. She had recently traveled to Bhabhua to take an exam, but vanished on 17 February, sparking concern and a subsequent search.

After the exam, she stayed overnight with Shafiq Ansari in a rented house in Sasaram, within the jurisdiction of the Kudra police station in Kaimur. The following day, Shafiq led her to the secluded forests of Manjhar Kund in Rohtas. In a chilling turn of events, he bought a knife allegedly to cut an apple for her but used the opportunity to murder her instead.

Her disappearance prompted her family to conduct a thorough search, but to no avail. They then filed a missing person report at the Bhabhua police station, leading to the police's involvement. The investigation quickly focused on Shafiq, the girl's boyfriend. Upon his detention and rigorous interrogation by the police, Shafiq revealed the harrowing details of his crime, confessing to the murder.

Murder in Manjhar Kund of Rohtas

The accused, Shafiq Ansari, disclosed to the police the events leading to a tragic conclusion. On February 17, he took the girl to a rented house in Sasaram. The following day, on February 18, he brought her to Manjhar Kund in Rohtas under the guise of an outing. It was in this seemingly peaceful setting that the grim reality unfolded. With a knife, which he had ostensibly brought to cut an apple for his girlfriend, he instead used it to commit a heinous act of violence, stabbing and sliting her tjroat and then making his escape from the area. Following the guidance provided by the accused, law enforcement was able to recover the girl's body, along with her clothes and the knife used in the murder, marking a significant breakthrough in the case as they proceeded with their investigation.

Bhabua's Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO), Shivshankar Kumar, addressed the media to provide updates on the case. He revealed that the girl's body was found in the forested area of Manjhar Kund hill. When the police apprehended Shafiq, he confessed to the murder of his girlfriend. He detailed that the murder took place on February 18th, after which he concealed her body in the bushes of the hill. Alongside the tragic discovery of the girl's body, the police also found a knife at the scene, further solidifying the evidence against Shafiq. This case has drawn significant attention, underscoring the diligent efforts of the police in uncovering the truth and seeking justice for the victim.
