"Jab nash manuj par chhata hai, Pehle vivek mar jata hai": Bahu Kavita with her lover Irshad, and friends Naushad, Sajid and Parvez, gets her Sasur Jaswant Sharma killed after making own son held at gunpoint, Irshad needed money to celebrate Eid

On July 17, a lady recognized as Kavita, her sweetheart distinguished as Irshad, and two others, Naushad and Sajid, were captured by Ghaziabad Police for supposedly killing Kavita's father-in-law 75-year-old Jaswant Sharma. Irshad, Naushad, and Sajid were captured by the Police from Koyal Enclave. Reports recommend Irshad needed money to celebrate Eid.

Another blamed, Parvez, was captured by the Police on Monday following an exchange of gunfire. According to reports, Parvez fired at Police while attempting to sidestep the capture in the early morning. The Police had discharged back justifiably, during which Parvez was shot in his leg. He was taken to the medical clinic for remedy.

Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Sahibabad Abhijith R Shankar said, "Parvez was spotted on a dark Splendor in addition to cruiser close to Banthla trench cut, Loni Road early Monday and when he was captured at a police checkpoint. He in the end started shooting while at the same time attempting to sidestep capture. In our examination, we found that Parvez had fled after the episode in Tila Mod on the cruiser which is enrolled in the departed son's name."

SP City Gyanendra said Jaswant was killed for the property. The house they were residing in was worth Rs 1 crore. There were a few godowns in the house that were leased by Jaswant.

Murder of Jaswant Sharma was planned by his own bahu 'Kavita’

According to the Police, Kavita was wedded to the oldest child of Jaswant Sharma. Quite a while back, her husband died. She was residing with her parents-in-law, including Sharma's other child Pankaj and his family, in a house in Pasauda. ASP (City-2) Gyanendra Kumar Singh said, "Our examination has uncovered that the oldest daughter-in-law of the departed, Kavita, had arranged the entire thing alongside Irshad, her darling."

After addressing Kavita, she confessed to arranging the homicide of her father-in-law and committed the wrongdoing with the assistance of her darling Irshad and Parvez. She further let the Police know that the conduct of her father-in-law had changed post her better half's passing, and she was not content with it. Two years back, she met a cabbie Parvez. For a situation, Parvez was shipped off jail, and his mobile was being utilized by Irshad during that time. Kavita began conversing with Irshad and fell head over heels for him. They have been seeing each other for 2 years.

At the point when Jaswant came to be familiar with frequent meetings between Kavita and Irshad, he protested it. She guaranteed Jaswant wouldn't give any cash to her and had announced that she will not get any partake on the family property.

The Police tracked down that on the mediating evening of July 14 and July 15, each of the four men, Parvez, Irshad, Naushad, and Sajid, arrived at Jaswant's home, where Kavita let them in. At the point when Jaswant raised alert, they attached him to the bed and beat him to death. To make it seem to be an instance of burglary, Kavita had herself tied by the other denounced. Then, at that point, they looted the house and ran away from the crime area. According to the Police, Kavita at first claimed that when she awakened, she saw her hands and legs were fastened with a rope. As per a report in Tricity Today, her child Tushar let the Police know that a few burglars had come to the house and taken him to one another room at gunpoint. They took gems worth one lakh and removed cash worth Rs 7,500. SSP Muniraj said Tushar had called 112 at around 2 AM. At the point when the Police arrived at the crime location, they tracked down Jaswant's dead body.

Pankaj filed a case against Kavita

According to a report in Tricity Today, Jaswant's younger son Pankaj was not at home when the occurrence occurred. Kavita had called him and requested to return at the earliest. At the point when Pankaj returned and got stock of the entire circumstance, he filed a complaint against Kavita as he genuinely thought that she was engaged in the incident.

An FIR under Sections 394 (voluntary causing hurt in committing robbery) and 302 (punishment for murder) was registered against the accused based on Pankaj’s complaint. Further, Sections 457 (lurking house-trespass or house-breaking by night in order to commit an offense punishable with imprisonment), 396 (dacoity with murder), 120B (punishment for criminal conspiracy), 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of a common intention) and 412 (Dishonestly receiving property stolen in the commission of a dacoity) of the IPC were added to the FIR.

In his grumbling, he had expressed that a few unidentified men had strongly gone into his home. They tied up Jaswant and beat him harshly. Jaswant capitulated to the injury he sustained during the beating. Kavita was likewise present in the house at the hour of the occurrence and asserted that the ones who killed her father-in-law removed gems and money. In any case, during the examination, the Police observed that there were no indications of forced entry.

SIM cards helped Police in tackling the case

During the investigation, Police found a SIM card in Kavita’s room. When they asked her about it, she refused to have any knowledge about the SIM. The Police got hold of the call details of the number and found that a particular number was called multiple times on the night of the incident. From there, the investigation revealed the role of Kavita in the murder.

Upon arrest, Ghaziabad Police recovered bangles, earrings, two gold coins, mangalsutra, Rs 5,600 in cash, three mobile phones, and a motorcycle from the accused. From Parvez, the Police recovered an illegal 315 bore pistol, live cartridges, a bike, and some jewelry.
