"Love Jihad": Ajmer’s chilling past resurfaces in Bhilwara as a girl drugged in a cafe, gangraped, blackmailed with obscene videos, and forced to trap friends—8 arrested, including Ashraf, ShahRukh, and Aamir Khan, while a female suspect remains missing

While two of them raped her in a private room at the cafe, others stood outside, making sure no one came near.

Gangrape Used to Take Place in Cafe, Friends Kept Watch Outside, Threatened to Leak Obscene Photos-Videos and Pressured Her to Introduce Them to Other Friends

The small town of Bhilwara in Rajasthan is reeling from yet another horrific crime that has shaken the community to its core. Following the recent uproar over the sexual assault and blackmail case in Bijaynagar, where Hindu girls were targeted by Muslim youths, a new and equally disturbing incident has come to light in Bhilwara. This time, a young woman found herself trapped in a nightmare that unfolded inside a local cafe. It all started back in March 2024 when she visited the cafe with someone she trusted, only to be betrayed in the worst possible way. She was given a drink spiked with drugs, which knocked her out, and then she was gang-raped by the men she was with. To make matters worse, these cruel individuals recorded obscene photos and videos of the assault.

They used those recordings as a weapon to blackmail her into silence and submission, threatening to ruin her life if she dared to speak out. The police have stepped in and arrested eight of the accused involved in this terrible crime, but one female suspect is still on the run. The case has sparked outrage, and a local Member of Parliament has gone so far as to call it an example of 'Love Jihad,' pointing to a possible pattern in these attacks.

The details of this case paint a grim picture of how a simple outing turned into a living hell for the victim. What began as a casual meet-up at a cafe ended with her being violated in a place where people usually gather to relax and socialize. The fact that such a crime could happen in broad daylight, with others helping to cover it up, has left people in Bhilwara stunned and angry. The use of blackmail to keep her quiet shows just how calculated and heartless the perpetrators were. They didn’t stop at the initial assault—they kept her under their control for months, using fear to dominate her life. The arrests have brought some relief, but the search for the remaining suspect continues, and the community is demanding justice for the young woman who suffered so much.

Rape and Blackmail Story Began at a Cafe with a Friend

The story of this awful crime came to the attention of the authorities when the victim bravely stepped forward to report it. According to the details shared by the police, a woman walked into the station on March 2 this year to file her complaint. She sat down with SHO Gajendra Singh Naruka and poured out the terrifying experience she had been through. She explained that it all started about a year earlier, in March of the previous year, when she went to a cafe at Badla Chauraha to meet someone she considered a friend, Ashraf Ali. When she got there, Ashraf wasn’t alone—his friend Bablu was with him. She had no idea what was coming next. She said that Bablu handed her a cup of coffee, but it wasn’t just coffee—it had sedatives mixed in. After taking a few sips, she started feeling strange, and before she knew it, she passed out completely. While she was unconscious, Ashraf Ali took her to a room inside the cafe and raped her. Meanwhile, Bablu stood outside the door, keeping watch to make sure no one interrupted. Ashraf didn’t stop there—he took pictures and videos of her during the assault, which he later used to threaten her. He raped her multiple times over the following months, holding those obscene recordings over her head to keep her quiet and force her to obey him. It took a lot of courage, but she finally decided she couldn’t live with the fear anymore and went to the police to tell her story.

Here’s exactly what the victim said in her own words: “My friend took me to a cafe. Her brother and a guy working there were present. They gave me a coffee to drink. After that, I felt dizzy and fell unconscious. Right there in the cafe, those two guys raped me and made obscene photos and videos to start blackmailing me.” Her statement reveals the betrayal she felt—someone she trusted had set her up, and the people around her took advantage of her vulnerability. It’s heartbreaking to think about how she must have felt, waking up to realize what had happened and then being forced to relive that trauma again and again because of the blackmail.

But the nightmare didn’t end with that first attack. The victim went on to describe how the situation grew even worse over time. Ashraf Ali shared those awful photos and videos with his friends, who then got involved in the abuse. While two of them raped her in a private room at the cafe, others stood outside, making sure no one came near. This gave the group the confidence to keep going, knowing they had people watching their backs. They used the same recordings to scare her into staying silent, threatening to spread them if she didn’t do what they wanted. The abuse became a cycle she couldn’t escape from—each time they called her, she felt trapped, knowing they could destroy her reputation with a single move. She also revealed that Ashraf Ali’s friends, Amir and Shoaib, took things further by pressuring her to bring other women into their circle. They even forced their way into her social media accounts, taking control of yet another part of her life. On January 1, 2025, another man named Sanvir called her to a cafe and subjected her to unnatural sexual intercourse, adding to the list of horrors she endured. It was only when she found the strength to go to the police that this cycle of torment finally started to break.

Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan Among 8 Accused Arrested

The police in Bhilwara didn’t waste any time after the shocking complaint came their way. They moved fast and rounded up eight men accused of this terrible crime. The men taken into custody are Ashraf Ali, who is just 20 years old, Sanveer Mohammed, aged 23, Shah Rukh Khan—also known as Bablu—who is 30, Soyabnoor Mohammed, 22, Faizan Gauri, 24, Soheb Sheikh, 24, Khalid—sometimes called Dulha—who is 25, and Aamir Khan, 31.

Each of these individuals now faces serious charges for what they’ve done. Among them, Shah Rukh Khan stands out because he already has a murder charge hanging over his head from a previous case. That’s a heavy shadow to carry, and it makes this situation even more alarming.

The main accused, Ashraf Ali, along with Sanveer Mohammed, are known to be involved in betting—a shady business that hints at their reckless lifestyles. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan works at a cafe, a place that’s supposed to be about coffee and chats, not crime. The rest of the group—Soyabnoor, Faizan, Soheb, Khalid, and Aamir—earn their living as masons, laborers, and painters. These are everyday jobs, which makes it all the more chilling that they’re tied to such a dark act.

Accused Female Suspect Absconds, Suspected to Have Fled to Udaipur or Madhya Pradesh

While eight of the accused are in custody, the story isn’t over yet. There’s still one person missing—a female suspect who managed to slip away before the police could catch her. Right now, the authorities believe she’s hiding out somewhere in Madhya Pradesh or maybe Udaipur, two places not too far from Bhilwara but far enough to make tracking her down a challenge. The police aren’t sitting still, though—they’ve got teams out there, raiding possible hideouts and following every lead they can find.

As of today, Wednesday, March 5, that search is still going strong, and they’re not giving up until she’s found. Kotwali police station in-charge Gajendra Singh Naruka shared how it all went down. He said that as soon as the victim walked into the station on March 2 and told her story, the police jumped into action. They didn’t hesitate—a team was put together right away, led by CO City Manish Badgurjar, and within just four hours, all eight of those accused men were caught and locked up.

Forced Her to Share Social Media ID, Called Her to a Park

The victim’s ordeal didn’t stop with the assaults—she was dragged deeper into a web of threats and control. She explained how the main accused, Ashraf Ali, used those awful videos and photos to keep her under his thumb. He didn’t just want to hurt her—he wanted to pull her whole world into his scheme. He forced her to hand over her social media ID, giving him access to her online life, and then pushed her to set up her other female friends with his buddies.

It’s a sickening thought, imagining how scared and helpless she must have felt, knowing he could ruin her with a single click. She shared a specific moment that happened just recently: “On March 1, one of their associates called me to a park and pressured me to make my other friends befriend them and share their social media IDs. They even beat me up. During this, some passersby arrived and chased the guy away. I somehow escaped and made it back home.” That day in the park must have been terrifying—being called out there, pressured, and then attacked, only to be saved by strangers who happened to walk by.

Ashraf and his crew didn’t just want to break her—they wanted to use her to trap others, turning her into a tool for their twisted plans. Taking her social media ID wasn’t just about control; it was about keeping her tied to them, making sure she couldn’t cut them off without risking everything. That park incident was the breaking point, though—it pushed her to finally tell someone what was happening.

MP Labels It 'Love Jihad,' Demands Probe Into Accused’s Funding

The case has taken on a bigger meaning in Bhilwara, especially after Bhilwara MP Damodar Agarwal stepped in. He’s calling this whole mess an example of 'Love Jihad,' a term that’s stirred up a lot of debate around here. He didn’t hold back when he met with SP Dharmendra Singh, pushing for the toughest action possible against the accused. To him, this isn’t just a crime—it’s part of something bigger, a conspiracy to target innocent girls and pull them into trouble.

He’s not stopping at arrests, either. He wants cafes and restaurants that might be hiding illegal activities to be shut down hard, sending a message that places like these can’t be safe havens for criminals. On top of that, he’s asking for a deep look into where the accused got their money. Who’s funding them? How could they keep this going for so long? These are the questions he’s raising, and he’s not alone—people in the town are starting to wonder the same thing.

Agarwal also brought up an idea to form a CPO, or Community Police Officer, though he didn’t finish laying out the full plan. It seems like he’s thinking about ways to keep the community safer, maybe by having someone local work with the police to spot trouble before it starts. His words have lit a fire under this case, making it more than just a local crime story—it’s now a political issue too. The 'Love Jihad' label has people talking, some agreeing with him, others shaking their heads. But one thing’s for sure: he’s putting pressure on the authorities to dig deeper and make sure nothing like this happens again.

For the victim, hearing her case talked about like this might feel overwhelming, but it’s also a sign that people in power are paying attention, and that could mean real change.
