"कुछ तो कुदरतन आदतें रही होंगी, यूँ कोई बेवफ़ा नहीं होता": Muzaffarnagar Love Jihad - Faiz Alam's deceit unfolds as he lured a Hindu girl posing as Suraj, raped her several times, forced her for abortion, and abandons her to marry a Muslim girl, booked
In a disturbing case emerging from the Muzaffarnagar district of Uttar Pradesh, a Hindu girl has raised serious allegations against a man named Faiz Alam. The complaint, filed with the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of the district on Tuesday, 19th December, details a harrowing sequence of events.

The girl accuses Faiz Alam of concealing his true identity by posing as a Hindu under the name 'Suraj.' This alleged deception was the foundation for a series of traumatic events that followed. According to the complaint, Faiz, under the guise of Suraj, developed a relationship with the girl, leading her to believe in the prospect of marriage. However, the situation took a dark turn as it is claimed that he raped her repeatedly over several days at various locations stretching from Muzaffarnagar to Bengaluru. This prolonged ordeal was not only a betrayal of trust but also a severe violation of her dignity and rights.
The girl's suffering was compounded when, as alleged in the complaint, Faiz forced her to undergo an abortion. This act added a layer of physical and emotional trauma to the already grave situation. Subsequently, Faiz reportedly abandoned the girl and went on to marry another woman, purportedly from his own community.
The police, having taken cognizance of this serious complaint, have initiated an investigation into the matter. This case, labeled as an incident of 'love jihad' in the complaint, points to deep-seated issues of trust, deceit, and communal tensions. It brings to the forefront the need for a thorough and sensitive investigation to ensure justice for the victim while navigating the complex social and religious dynamics at play.
|
The term 'love jihad' used in this context refers to an alleged campaign of Muslim men falsely portraying themselves as non-Muslims to entrap non-Muslim women into marriage and forcibly convert them to Islam. This case, therefore, has not only legal implications but also stirs significant social and communal sentiments, making it imperative for law enforcement to approach it with the utmost care and objectivity.
The complaint filed against Faiz Alam reveals more details about the case, which falls under the jurisdiction of the New Mandi police station in Muzaffarnagar. The complainant, a Hindu girl from Panipat, Haryana, has made serious allegations about how she was deceived and raped by Faiz Alam, a resident of Kala village in Muzaffarnagar.
In her complaint, the girl narrates how Faiz Alam initially approached her while posing as a Hindu man named Suraj. It is alleged that under this false identity, Faiz Alam ensnared the girl in what she believed was a romantic relationship. He reportedly promised marriage, a commitment that he used as a pretext to rape her several times. This deceitful act of feigning love and commitment to exploit the victim is a central aspect of the complaint.

The complaint further details that Faiz Alam, still under the guise of Suraj, lived with the victim in a house in Muzaffarnagar for approximately one and a half years. During this period, the nature and extent of the rapes she endured are not specified, but it is implied that the girl was under the impression that their relationship was leading to marriage.
The situation escalated when Faiz Alam took the victim to Bengaluru. The move to a different city marks a significant turn in the events as described in the complaint. It suggests a continuation and perhaps an intensification of the ordeal that the girl was subjected to, away from her familiar surroundings and possibly away from any support system she might have had.
In a further distressing turn of events, as detailed in the complaint, the victim's ordeal in Bengaluru continued to worsen. According to her statement, Faiz Alam, still masquerading as Suraj, raped her multiple times, maintaining the pretense of a future marriage. This pattern of abuse under the false promise of marriage marks a consistent and calculated betrayal by Faiz.
Approximately a year ago, when the victim pressed Faiz/Suraj to formalize their relationship through marriage, he began to evade the subject. This avoidance signaled a shift in his behavior and intentions. During this period, the victim discovered she was pregnant. In response, Faiz deceitfully promised a swift court marriage to address the situation. However, instead of fulfilling this promise, he took a more sinister route. On 24th November 2023, under the guise of moving forward with their relationship, Faiz reportedly gave the victim medicine to terminate her pregnancy without her knowledge or consent. Tragically, the impact of this medication led to the victim suffering a miscarriage, resulting in the abortion of a 3-month fetus on 26th November 2023.
The complaint also highlights the aftermath of this traumatic event, noting that the victim's health severely deteriorated due to the effects of the medicine. Despite her critical condition, Faiz Alam, still in the guise of Suraj, failed to provide any medical assistance or care for her. This neglect further exemplifies the cruelty and callousness of his actions.
Following the abortion, Faiz abruptly abandoned the victim, leaving her alone in her time of dire need. He disappeared, cutting off all communication with the victim and not responding to her numerous phone calls. This act of leaving her in such a vulnerable state underscores the extent of his disregard and the depth of the victim's trauma.
The complaint paints a harrowing picture of deceit, exploitation, and abandonment. The victim, who believed in a future with someone she trusted, found herself trapped in a cycle of abuse and betrayal. The police investigation into this case is crucial, not only to bring justice to the victim but also to address the grave concerns raised about such predatory behaviors.
The complaint further reveals the aftermath of the victim's harrowing experience. After enduring the alleged rapes, the forced abortion, and abandonment by Faiz Alam, who she knew as Suraj, the victim eventually shared her ordeal with her family members, who were residing temporarily in Shamli.
Acting on this information, the victim's family decided to confront Faiz. They visited his house, likely seeking answers and accountability for what their daughter had endured. However, upon their arrival, they were confronted with another shocking revelation. The family discovered that Faiz Alam had recently married a Muslim girl. This marriage was a significant piece of information, as it was at this moment that the victim and her family learned about "Suraj's" true identity – his real name was Faiz, and he was a Muslim. This revelation must have been a profound shock to the victim and her family, uncovering the extent of deception they had been subjected to.
The complaint also notes the response of Faiz Alam's family to the victim's family during their visit. According to the victim's account, Faiz’s wife, Fauzia, and his father confronted the victim's family with defiance. They reportedly said, “Go, do whatever you want to do. You can’t harm us.” This response suggests a dismissive attitude towards the victim's family and a lack of concern for the gravity of the situation.
This part of the complaint highlights the deep emotional and psychological impact on the victim and her family. Discovering that the person who had caused such immense pain and suffering was not who he claimed to be added another layer of betrayal to the already traumatic experience. Moreover, the response of Faiz's family, as alleged in the complaint, could have further exacerbated the sense of injustice felt by the victim and her family.
In her harrowing ordeal, as detailed in the complaint, the victim recounts further distressing interactions with Faiz Alam, the accused. Despite the shock and trauma she had already endured, the victim attempted to reach out to Faiz. However, instead of understanding or remorse, she was met with threats and intimidation.
According to the victim's account, when she contacted Faiz, he not only refused to continue their relationship but also threatened her. He allegedly stated that he would not live with her anymore, firmly severing any remaining ties. More alarmingly, Faiz is accused of threatening the victim with dire consequences if she approached the police. He reportedly warned her that he would kill her if she tried to seek legal recourse for the injustices she suffered.
|
Adding to these threats, Faiz Alam claimed to have connections with high-ranking authorities in the police department. This assertion was likely intended to intimidate the victim further, suggesting that any attempt to seek justice would be futile.
The victim also disclosed in her complaint that, throughout their time living together, Faiz Alam had defrauded her of a significant amount of money. This financial exploitation compounds the physical and emotional abuse she allegedly suffered at his hands.
At the conclusion of her complaint, the victim called for strict action to be taken against Faiz Alam. She demanded justice for the myriad of injustices she endured, including deception, rape, financial exploitation, and threats to her life.
The news outlet OpIndia has obtained a copy of this complaint, emphasizing the seriousness and credibility of the allegations. In response to these grave accusations, the police have acknowledged the severity of the matter and have initiated an investigation. This case, now in the hands of law enforcement, underscores the importance of a thorough and unbiased investigation to ensure that justice is served and the victim's rights are upheld.
