"Best time for you to hold your tongue is the time you feel you must say something or bust": Without mincing any word, EAM Jaishankar busted Pakistani spin, "World is not stupid & world does call out countries who indulge in terrorism, clean up your act"
Do, deny, defend and deflect – seems to be the ideology of the Pakistani deep state in regard to terrorism. Intoxicated with bigotry and insane hatred for India, Pakistan has become the epicenter of terrorism in the world.
Moreover, it wilfully uses terror as a ‘tool of statecraft’. But unlike in the past, the Modi government has been taking the terror-sponsor nation to the cleaners time and again. Now, the recent thrashing indicates that Foreign Minister S Jaishankar has punctured several holes in the new propaganda invented by the Pakistani deep state.

Jaishankar shows Pakistan the mirror
On the 15th of December, the External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar explained the Indian viewpoint in the press briefing held on the UN premises. But things took an interesting turn when a Pakistani reporter tried to misuse the multinational forum. The Pakistani journalist wanted to push Pakistan’s nefarious agenda along the lines of Nazi Propagandist Joseph Goebbels.
In an ugly attempt to put India and Pakistan in the same boat, the Pakistani journalist tactfully tried to gift wrap ISI’s handout as an unbiased media query.
Accusing India of supporting terrorism, the Pakistani reporter asked, “How long South Asia is going to see this terrorism disseminating from New Delhi, Kabul and, you know, Pakistan?”
Without mincing any word, Foreign Minister Jaishankar busted the Pakistani spin. He categorically stated that the Pakistani journalist was asking the wrong minister.
He said, “You’re asking the wrong minister when you say ‘how long will we do this’.”
Further, Minister Jaishankar stressed that the journalist was misdirecting his query. He said that there are ministers in Pakistan who can tell how long Pakistan intends to practice terrorism.
Additionally, Minister Jaishankar highlighted that the world isn’t stupid and forgetful. Rather the world increasingly calls out countries or organisations that indulge in terrorism. Going ahead, Jaishankar urged Pakistan to mend its ways, clean up its act and try to be a good neighbour.

Jaishankar didn’t pull his punches against Pakistan
Going aggressive against Pakistan’s terror factory, Foreign Minister Jaishankar also launched a scathing attack against Pakistan. He directly called out Pakistan’s hand in promoting terrorism and reminded Pakistan that the world is still aware of its act.
The Minister stated that the world is still aware of the people whose fingerprints are on several regional and international operations.
Jaishankar had launched an attack on Pakistan earlier as well. He stated that it should never be necessary to defend actions that the rest of the world deems objectionable.
Jaishankar added that this also holds true for hosting Osama Bin Laden and attacking a neighboring Parliament, neither of which may be used as justification for preaching before the UN Security Council.
These remarks from Foreign Minister Jaishankar came against the backdrop of repeated propaganda of Pakistan. Earlier, Pakistan’s state minister for foreign affairs, Hina Rabbani Khar tried to malign India and claimed that India was employing terrorists to destabilize Pakistan.
Pertinent to note that, ten years ago, Hina Rabbani Khar was Pakistan’s foreign minister. Back then she stood beside Hillary Clinton when she gave famous advice to Pakistan. The US Secretary of State, Clinton had reminded Pakistan that it was impossible to have a snake in their backyard and expect it to attack their neighbor only.
Hitting out at Pakistan’s Minister Hina Rabbani, Foreign Minister Jaishankar re-iterated Hillary Clinton’s advice. However, he soon highlighted that Pakistan is not great at taking good advice.

The recent back-to-back statements by Pakistan highlight their nefarious agenda. It is clear that since it is no longer on the grey list of FATF, it will keep indulging in terrorism and follow its do, deny, defend and deflect strategy. The blind and baseless accusations of terrorism against India are the final stage of its hateful anti-India agenda.
However, Pakistan has forgotten that it no longer enjoys ignorance of the world and ‘Aman ki asha’ pampering from India. Rather a responsible and aspiring superpower like India will hold it accountable for taking away the countless lives of innocent people just to massage its hatred against India.
