Kerala govt. employees to pay Jizya tax on undertaking Sabarimala pilgrimage

The controversial order blatantly said that employees could grow beards as part of their Vratha, but they will not be eligible for allowances. This meant that govt employees have to pay more than half their paycheck to the green communists, and that too in modern-day Bharat!

The communist regime in Kerala issued a strange order on 30th November threatening pay cuts to government employees who wish to make the pilgrimage to the Sabarimala temple.  It is seen as a move clearly aimed at discouraging Hindu state government employees from visiting Sabarimala. Incidentally, CM Pinarayi Vijayan holds the home portfolio too.

Even communist HINOs (Hindus In Name Only) compared the move to Jizya, the tax imposed by Aurangzeb on Hindus. Aurangzeb’s goal was to promote Islam and weaken the Hindu religion. Back then, Hindus were forced to pay taxes to Islamists, just to stay Hindu.

Normally, Swamis (those who plan to visit Sabarimala) undergo 41 days of rigorous penance. Certain Vrathas (traditions) are strictly adhered to where they remain celibate, shun non-veg food, eat only self-cooked or clean vegetarian food, and visit temples every day after their early morning shower, before sunrise. They live a pure and simple life, sleeping on the floor. Swamis do not trim their hair or shave and dress in plain black clothes (purple and saffron as one progresses consistently over the years).

Starting pay scale for state govt workers is Rs.50,200/- but the basic is just 23,000/-. The controversial order blatantly said that employees could grow beards as part of their Vratha, but they will not be eligible for allowances. This meant that govt employees have to pay more than half their paycheck to the green communists, and that too in modern-day Bharat!

This government order meant that the allowances of all bearded Hindu officers (including the ones on Sabarimala duty) would be deducted. Usually, there are concessions on attire and the sporting of beards amongst security personnel on Sabarimala duty since they too are devotees of Bhagwan Ayyappa.

To exist in Bhagwan Ayyappa’s vicinity, most officers proactively select that assignment. Hindu officers consider the current order an act of discouragement to Hindu employees planning to accept Sabarimala vows.

Employees who plan to visit Sabarimala inform the district officers in writing, just like their Muslim compatriots do when they plan their haj travels. Such salary deductions were unheard of, all these years. Interestingly, this is happening in a state where most government offices sport a deserted look after every Friday noon when it is time for weekly namaz.

The order was first introduced by the Palakkad district fire and rescue office and was tested against Dileep R employed with the Kerala Fire Force. Even though the minorities demographically account for around 30% (as per 2011 numbers), Palakkad Municipality is the only one in Kerala where the BJP is in power.

Palakkad history & geography

Historically, Palakkad has played a major role geographically and is of prime importance to Hindus who fled the 1921 Malabar genocide. Palakkadan Hindu families gave refuge to those who escaped Islamists in the districts of Kozhikode and Malappuram. The Palakkad gap is one of the few passes to transverse the western ghats into Tamil Nadu.

A town called Mannarkkad, situated on the foothills of the western ghats is the real gateway into Palakkad. The traditional mistrust of Islamists that existed for many years (since 1921) has slowly but surely disappeared and this town is now 50% Muslim. Recent mischief being reported from Mannarkkad clearly shows negligence at the helm of the fire and rescue department and a deeper conspiracy brewing.

Recent history of mysterious fires

In September, two guests staying in Mannarkkad Hill View died of asphyxiation while the others were rescued. Mohammed Basheer, 58, from Malappuram and Pushpalatha, 42 were staying in the same room located on the third floor and a fire broke out at 3 AM. The hotel is owned by C Mohammed Basheer (aka Fayeda Basheer) who is also the Mannarkkad municipality chairman and the Indian Union Muslim League (IUML) general secretary.

When the fire broke out and the fire brigade arrived, rescued hotel employees told them that there were only two guests in the rooms at the time and the personnel rescued both of them. It was only later when the rooms were inspected that the bodies were recovered. Fayeda blamed a delay in the fire engines arriving but the fire station officer denied those charges.

This was done deliberately to deflect the blame of having unregistered guests away from himself and he still occupies the municipality chairman position. What made the hotel employees lie? Why is the CPM not taking any action against an opposition member who is openly accusing their own fire department officers?

In July, 26 persons suffered burns (2 critically) after a massive fire broke out at a chicken waste processing factory near Ambalappara. Several firefighters attached to the Mannarkkad fire station who were trying to put out the fire got injured when an oil tank exploded. Other than rumors that an NRI owns the place, no further investigation was done.

An eatery right in the middle of Palakkad town called the Noor Jehan Open Grill was totally gutted in a blaze that occurred in February. Shoddy interiors made of inferior materials helped spread the fire quickly. Fire and Rescue Services personnel reached the spot in five minutes but in less than half an hour, the entire three stories were reduced to ashes.

Are these incidents merely negligence on the part of higher-ups in the fire department, or are certain establishments deliberately being allowed to flout fire safety guidelines?

Sabarimala

Islamist and Church-sponsored attempts to destroy the Sabarimala, or reduce Hindu faith in it, are well documented. When they understood that those tactics wouldn’t work, the communists ‘historians’ added another angle to things. A mosque called the Vavar shrine was added to the itinerary and fake narratives about Bhagwan Ayyappa being a ‘friend’ of Vavar were circulated!

‘Secular’ Swamis still visit the mosque and donate generously. Interestingly, it seems black pepper is the favored choice of offering to Vavar and the mosque rakes in crores in offerings from Hindu devotees.

Other than this, acres of temple land in Poonkavanam have been encroached upon and now there is an attempt to sell the government land under the guise of land acquisition for an airport.

Unconfirmed reports suggested that the controversial Sabarimala order was withdrawn by the fire and rescue department on the 9th of this month.
