Ramnagar was to host the G20 summit from March 28 to 30. As part of these preparations, the walls and roads of Ramnagar were adorned with murals showcasing the rich civilization and culture of Uttarakhand.

Leading this artistic endeavor is Kusum Pandey, a renowned artist and the first woman from Uttarakhand to receive the National Award in Fine Arts. Along with her team, Kusum Pandey had taken on the responsibility of capturing the essence of Uttarakhand's culture through intricately crafted wall paintings for the G20 meeting in Ramnagar.

Speaking about this initiative, Kusum Pandey expressed her excitement, stating that the paintings would offer visiting guests from various countries an immersive experience of Uttarakhand's vibrant culture. Dheeraj Garbyal, the District Magistrate of Nainital, emphasized that all necessary preparations for the event, including the beautification of Ramnagar, will be completed well in advance to ensure a seamless experience for the participants.
