Police officials confirmed on Friday that the woman had endured nine months of gangrape by her abductors in the Faisalabad district, approximately 130 kilometers from Lahore.

In a heart-wrenching turn of events, the community of Kashiani in Gopalganj was plunged into mourning as the bodies of two Hindu children were discovered under tragic circumstances, casting a spotlight on the ongoing ethnic strife affecting minorities in Bangladesh. "She is deeply disappointed by the uprising against her leadership despite her efforts for the betterment of Bangladesh," Dhaka Tribune quoted Joy as stating.

On 4th August (local time), Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer, issued a statement condemning the violence that erupted across the country, creating chaos. He said, “I utterly condemn the far-right thuggery we have seen this weekend,” blaming the protesting groups and individuals against immigrants for the violence. He made it clear that those involved in the violence would face the full force of the law. However, there have been reports that the government’s action is going to be selective.

In a harrowing incident in Greece, an Arab Israeli man from Nazareth, Fahad Qubati, aged 24, was subjected to a brutal attack due to a case of mistaken identity.
