What according to you is the problem that citizens face on a day-to-day basis? Some of you may have guessed it right. Getting unsolicited advice is a major worry. Especially, when it comes from those who don’t even have an iota of expertise in that domain.

Now, everyone knows that the past few years have been very challenging for the Hindi film industry. Audiences who face worldly issues, and solutions and have a normal mode of communication couldn’t explain their feedback to the industry. But it seems that Bollywood’s worries will very soon be over. The acting maestro, Swara Bhaskar has recently given her valuable input.

Pretentious actor, full-time attention seeker

Currently, one of the best actresses in Bollywood has to be Swara Bhaskar. If it was not for political considerations, Kangana Ranaut, who can only do justice to her characters would not have received the National Award. Instead, the award should have been rightfully bestowed to the acting institution Swara Bhaskar.

She has been following the popular saying – when in Rome do as the Romans do. Evidently, she regularly attends domain and issues specific – political, social, and cultural events – donning the robes of the expert of the day. While doing so she has been tactfully successful in disguising herself as an actor.

Recently, she gave an interview where she pondered over several important issues plaguing the Hindi film industry. But not restricting herself to the domain in which she aces, she opined about everything under the sun before finally making a pitch to get a Job.

The JNU alumna, Swara Bhaskar followed a well-established saying that before making a pitch for the sale, one has to create a demand for the same. Going further in the interview, she religiously followed the script and even demonstrated her skills to pull a wide range of emotions and act as a know-it-all expert.

Deciphering the silence of Bollywood and putting herself in the line

In the interview, she stressed that people like her have been discredited in all possible manner for not being “obedient”. She added that this has been happening to her for at least eight years.

However, she emphasized that the Hindi film industry is particularly vulnerable and scared. Citing lost opportunities, she added that the fear that grips the nation is glaring in Bollywood.

She said, “I am the best example of why people in Bollywood choose not to speak out as the fallout is real. Its professional cost, the cost to your peace of mind, your sense of physical safety, the cost to just your sense of dignity and respect is immense.”

After highlighting that Bollywood is scared to speak and it is obvious that things are not going great for them, she knew that she had created the right note to make the pitch.

Later, she reiterated what every cinema fan knew all along. Without sounding narcissistic, she gloated about her rich cinematic career.

She said, “I am a far better actor and a far more competent and effective actor than the opportunities that come my way.”

She stated that she has a far better track record and, ahem, ahem… has been a part of 6-7 blockbuster films. Further, she added that she has acted in a bunch of other web series including playing the lead role in some of and never had bad reviews.

Now, I don’t know why the non-left social media handles question her short stint in cinema. They should categorically understand one thing. True cinema fans couldn’t see her acting skill more often because she consciously chose that. She risked her career because the fascist political administration doesn’t want know-it-all experts to have their expert opinion on forcefully passed laws like CAA-NRC.

The few Bollywood projects in her kitty, that too, low budget and secondary works shouldn’t be used to discredit her acting skills.

After highlighting the issue, she rationalised that with her great acting calibre, she should be getting more work as compared to what she gets courtesy of speaking out against those who are in power. It was a perfect act and should be shown to all aspiring job candidates how to create a demand and make a case for themselves

Some rumours claim that after the interview, the Oscar Jury started seriously deliberating to nominate Swara Bhaskar-starrer web series for next year’s Oscar. On the national front, Shri all-rounder Yogendra Yadav was on his way bringing DadaSaheb Phalke Award for her acting contributions and playing the different roles as per the suitability of the agitation movement.
