The largest existing Pagan faith today is Hindu Dharma and its sub-groups Buddhism, Jainism, et al. Pagan faiths have existed worldwide like in the Americas where the cultural genocide of indigenous communities by Christians virtually wiped out these belief systems. Parts of south-east Asia which also experienced colonization still have tribes and groups following animism (worship of spirits, belief in all inanimate and animate objects having souls), worship of nature, worship of ancestors and other such Pagan beliefs.

The day was 8 April 1929. While debates in New Delhi’s Central Legislative Assembly raged on, two young revolutionaries, namely, Bhagat Singh and Batukeshwar Dutt entered the cabinet undetected to perform a dramatic act of revolution.

The period of a fortnight just before the hanging of Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Raj Guru, was an eventful time. The infamous Gandhi-­Irwin pact was signed on 5^th March 1931; with that pact the final onslaught was launched by Lord Irwin to curtail the powers of Mahatma Gandhi and National Movement of Independence.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of several projects in Somnath in the Saurashtra district of Gujarat. The event, organised via video conferencing, was attended by Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani, Union Home minister Amit Shah and MoS for Tourism Shripad Naik.

A Twitter user BharadwajSpeaks has destroyed the claims laid down by Congress mouthpiece National Herald’s journalist Mrinal Pande about Kashi Vishwanath Temple. Pande has claimed that the Shiva Linga worshipped in the Kashi Vishwanath Dham is not ‘Swayambhu’ thus, worshipping it is not prescribed. In reply to her claims, BharadwajSpeaks countered her by showing documentary evidence that the Linga is indeed Swayambhu and her claims were baseless.

While going through some research work, I came across an article by scroll.in mentioning about a new book asking "Why is Shiva represented by a sexual symbol". Last paragraph of the article says:

On December 13, Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated the newly built Kashi Vishwanath Corridor to the nation. The Kashi Vishwanath Dham, a prime religious pilgrimage centre for the Hindus, was spread across only 3,000 square feet before the project started. It now spreads over a 5,00,000 square feet area.

The Kashi Vishwanath Corridor was inaugurated today with much-deserved pomp and show. A symbol of Hindu pride that preserved Bhavya Kashi and the divinity that is synonymous with it. On Monday morning, Prime Minister Narendra Modi offered prayers at the Kal Bhairav temple in Varanasi. At the Kashi Vishwanath temple, Prime Minister offered prayers to Lord Shiva. A Hindu nation, led by a democratically elected proud Hindu, working for everyone and for the first time, including the Hindu population.

The Shri Kashi Vishwanath Corridor, which is Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s dream project, will be dedicated to the nation on December 13, 2021. There is an atmosphere of celebration in the city. There is divinity… there is grandeur and also the living spirituality of Kashi. Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple was demolished by Islamic ruler Aurangzeb in 1669. Since then, it was shadowed by the mosque, which we know today as Gyanvapi Masjid.
